Delivery:

Cafe Bride only delivers within Australia. You can have your purchase sent to you, or purchase a gift for a friend and have it sent straight to them.

To keep life simple – we have a flat shipping rate of $15 Australia wide regardless of weight or destination. Our standard delivery method is via Toll couriers. We do require a street address for delivery – please no PO Boxes. If you live in a remote or rural area of Australia and specifically request delivery to a PO Box or by some means other than courier, then we will be able to give you a quote for delivery, however the minimum delivery fee will be $15.

While we believe that we have partnered with excellent delivery partners and suppliers, despite our best efforts there may be times when parcels or products are delayed in the delivery process.  We will always endeavour to work closely with our partners to ensure prompt delivery of your order.

All items purchased from Cafe Bride are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss/damage for all purchases pass to you upon our delivery to Australia Post. Having said that, all our deliveries are traceable. Should your item be lost in transit or damaged, we will do our very best to ensure you have all the information necessary to make a claim against the carrier. Café Bride is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from delivery.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COURIER DELIVERIES: When receiving your order via courier, you will notice a sticker on the box instructing you to open the delivery and check for damage PRIOR to signing for delivery. Please be aware that once you sign for a delivery, you have accepted your order has no damage. Please be sure your item is without damage before signing.

Packing, handling and delivery fees are NOT refundable under any circumstances.

 

Delivery Times:

Cafe Bride suggests that orders are placed as early as possible to avoid stress and disappointment. We will endeavour to despatch all orders within 14 days of receipt of payment for your order. Some items require longer lead times and these are indicated in the product description. Personalised items have a lead time of 4-6 weeks and should be ordered as early as possible to avoid disappointment!

If for any reason we have a shortage of stock and cannot despatch the order within the timeframe, we will contact you to let you know. You will then be given the option of waiting, or having some of the order shipped now and the rest later. During peak times it may not always be possible to despatch orders within 14 days, if your order is required by a certain date please enter this in the comments section so that we can endeavour to deliver your order in time. Please note that orders are processed in order of payment, which may not always be in the same order as placement.

 

Refund and Exchange Policy:

Cafe Bride understands that shopping over the internet is different from being able to pick and hold items the way you do in a conventional store. That is why we promise to provide the best products possible. All our items are checked thoroughly for damage prior to despatch. If you find that your item has been damaged in transit you should contact the courier company to discuss a resolution.

If you have purchased the wrong size or colour, or you are not entirely happy with your purchase, Café Bride will offer an exchange or credit note to the value of the items purchased, under the following conditions:

  • All products must be returned within seven days of receipt.

  • The product(s) must be as new (unused and undamaged) and

  • With their original packaging intact.

No returns or exchanges can be made on personalised items.

No returns or exchanges on bulk orders of 40 items or more.

To organise an exchange or credit note, email carol@cafebride.com.au with the following details:

  • Your Name, Order Number, Product Name/Code, Reason for exchange.

Apart from returns for damaged products, all products must be returned to Cafe Bride in a saleable condition. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all returns are packaged so as to prevent damage in transit. All returned products will be assessed to verify the nature of the return. Please enclose a copy of your receipt and the return form. ORDERS RETURNED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

When a product is returned to us, Cafe Bride offer an exchange for goods to the same value or a store credit to the value of the items purchased. Delivery costs (including packaging and handling fees) are NOT refundable under any circumstances.

Our exchange policy does not apply if the product(s) have been used, worn, soiled or damaged. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements. It is suggested that you insure your return package as Café Bride cannot be held responsible for any product lost or damaged in the post.

  • SUBSEQUENT DELIVERY FEES WILL BE APPLIED TO EXCHANGES AND ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. This is not negotiable – our flat rate shipping fee is $15.

  • NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON BOMBONIERE ORDERS OF 40 PIECES OR MORE. We offer a free sample service, please feel free to ask for a sample before placing your order as cancellations and returns are not accepted after large stock quantities have been ordered.

  • NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ARE AVAILABLE ON PERSONALISED ITEMS UNLESS THE ITEM IS FAULTY.

  • WE REGRET THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON FOODSTUFFS, UNLESS WE HAVE FAILED TO FILL THE ORDER CORRECTLY.

  • WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT. Please read the delivery information above.

  • FOR HEALTH REASONS, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON UNDERWEAR OR SWIMWEAR.

 

Cancellations:

Cafe Bride keeps its prices low by holding a minimum of stock on hand. In most instances we may need to place an order with our suppliers to fill your order. If you decide for any reason to cancel your order prior to us dispatching your order, we will issue a store credit to the value of the order. We regret that deposits are not refundable.

 

Refunds:

Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:

  • The goods are found to be faulty or they become faulty soon after buying them.

  • The goods are unfit for their purpose.

  • The goods don’t match the description or sample provided by Café Bride.

  • Or we are unable to supply the goods within the agreed timeframe.

 

Important Information Regarding Chocolate Shipments:

We love chocolate, and it is incredibly popular as bomboniere, but it is perishable. We have developed some procedures to ensure that the chocolate you receive arrives in the best condition as possible. Orders of more than 60 chocolates will be sent via courier or express post (packed with an ice pack during the warmer months) on Mondays and Tuesdays only! While all care is taken, no responsibility can be accepted for damage to chocolate in transit. We regret that we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on foodstuffs, unless we have failed to fill the order correctly.
